DIVISIONAL PETTY SESSIONS - Monday. - Before S. E. Cary, R. Durant, and R. Huxham Watson, Esqs.
[...]
Jonas Coaker, of the Blue Post Inn, Harberton, was summoned by Mr. E. L. Middleton, of Plymouth, slate merchant, to shew cause why he should not be bound over to keep the peace towards him, defendant having threatened to run a knife into him. Since the issue of the summons defendant had written complainant expressing regret for what he had said, and complainant now asked the Bench to allow the summons to be withdrawn, which they granted.
