At Kingsbridge on Monday, Servington Luscombe, of Knap Mill, Loddiswell, a farmer, was fined 10s and costs for working an horse while in an unfit state. P.C. Glandfield stated that it was the worst case of cruelty that had come under his knowledge for many years, the horse having three bad wounds, 2½ inches in diameter, with the collar bearing upon them.
