        Owen Parsons Wins R.C.A.F. Wings

        Word has been received from Ottawa by Mrs. B. Parsons, 163 Douglas Park Road, St. James, that her son Flt. Sgt. Owen Parsons has been posthumously awarded the operational wings of the R.C.A.F. for gallant service against the enemy.

        Flt. Sgt. Parsons attended Centennial school and enlisted in the R.C.A.F. in 1940. He was employed with Canada Bread prior to enlistment. He was killed in action in 1944.
