Alleged Robbery. - Samuel Barrett was charged with stealing a silver watch belonging to Richard Kaiser, jeweller, 190, Bute-street, on Monday. A Mrs. Sarah Kalloway, wife of a mariner, and who resides at the prosecutor's, said the prisoner came into the shop on Monday, and she afterwards saw him go out and pass something over to another man, who was waiting outside. The prosecutor said he had missed three watches. At the request of the police, the magistrates granted a remand until Monday, in order that the second man and the watches might be found.
