HANNAFORD - GILLMAN.
On Whit Monday, at Bakewell Parish Church, the wedding took place of Miss Ellen Maud Hannaford, elder daughter of Mr Richard Hannaford, and the late Mrs Hannaford, of Burre Cottage, Bakewell, and Mr Walter L. Gillman, of Old Charlton. Attended by Mr W. H. Hannaford (brother of the bride) as best man, the bridegroom, who is a Petty Officer in the Navy, wore his uniform. Given away by her father, the bride wore a navy blue costume, and was attended by three bridesmaids, the Misses E. Brightmore, V. Harvey and C. Hicks, two of whom wore dresses of blue voile and the other a dress of pale pink. The Rev. F. H. Sloman officiated. The honeymoon is being spent in North Wales.
