DEATH OF MR. IDRIS LEWIS B.A
Royal Institution Curator's Sad Bereavemenr. [sic]
We regret to announce the death of Mr. ldris Evan Lewis, B.A., son of Mr. Evan Lewis, curator of the Royal Institution, Swansea, which occurred early on Wednesday morning at his residence, 4, Belgrave-terrace, Swansea.
Deceased gentleman, who was one of the masters of the Central Classes for pupil teachers under the Swansea Board. He was educated at the old Grammar School, served his time under Mr. Schleswick at the St. Helen's Board School, proceeding thence to Bangor Training College. He afterwards became assistant-master at Swansea Central Higher Grade School, having now secured his B.A. degree.
Deceased had been suffering from a cardiac disease for about four months, being first seized with a series of epileptic fits. He had been attended by Dr. Stephens.
Much sympathy is expressed for Mr. Evan Lewis, who, it.will be remembered, lost another son, Collwyn, under such distressing circumstances at Langland Bay some few years ago.
