Preece - Nicks
Miss Catherine Nicks, only daughter of Dr. and Mrs. P. F. Nicks, of Switchback Road North, Maidenhead, was recently married to Mr. Richard Preece, eldest son of Dr. and Mrs. J. S. B. Preece of East London, South Africa.
The bride wore a gown of white taffeta embroidered with pearls and carried a bouquet of roses, lilies, freesias and gypsophila.
The best man was Rev. Duncan Myers.
After a reception at the Grovefield Hotel, Burnham, the couple left for a honeymoon in Guernsey. They will live in Marlow.
The bridegroom is a consulting engineer and the bride is a teacher of children with special needs.
