        OBITUARY. - The death has occurred at his residence, Kenedon, Oxford-road, Moseley, of Colonel Alfred Henry Halse, who joined the Worcester and Warwick Volunteer Artillery in 1893 and, rising to the rank of Lieut.-Colonel, subsequently took over the command of the 3rd South Midland Brigade, R.F.A., which later became the 1st W.V.A., and afterwards the 1st Warwickshire Royal Garrison Artillery. He retired from the command of the Brigate in July, 1912. He was Past Master of the Leigh Lodge of Freemasons, No. 887. The funeral took place, with full military honours, at Moseley Parish Churchyard, on Wednesday.
