Mr. A. L. Rogers, Ashprington.
On Saturday afternoon the funeral took place at Ashprington Churchyard of Mr. Andrew Lionel Rogers, of Ashprington Court, a well-known South Devon farmer, who passed away on the previous Tuesday at the age of 65 years. Rev. R. M. Carwithen (rector) officiated. Mrs. Axworthy was at the organ. The family mourners were Mrs. Rogers, widow; Messrs. Albert T. Rogers, Leonard A. Rogers, William G. Rogers, and Garland V. Rogers, sons; Misses C. Rogers, E. Rogers, and G. Rogers, daughters; Mr. G. Rogers (Diptford), brother; Mrs. A. T. Rogers, Mrs. L. A. Rogers, Mrs. W. G. Rogers, Mrs. G. V. Rogers, daughters-in-law; Mrs. G. Rogers (Diptford), Mrs. W. Rogers (Kingsbridge), Mr. and Mrs. R. Rogers (Chantry), Mr. and Mrs. J. Rogers (Modbury), brothers and sisters-in-law; Mr. R. Messrs. T. N. Rogers (Lisburne), B. F. Rogers (Sorley), A. T. Rogers (Elwell), G. Rogers (Aveton Gifford), L. Rogers (Woodleigh) and B. Rogers (Harbertonford), the deceased's nephews, acted as bearers.
