Citation:
TO be LET, by Tender, for a term of seven or ten years, and entered on at Lady-day next, a most desirable FARM, consisting of an excellent Dwelling-House, Barton, barn, stable, wring-house, and cow-houses, and seventy-seven admeasured customary acres of rich meadow, pasture, arable land and orchard, nearly lying within a ring fence, contiguous to the dwelling-house, situated in the parish of Ide, about one mile and half distant from Exeter, now in the occupation of Mr. Francis Nicks.
The orchards, which are five acres, contain the choicest fruit trees, and are remarkably productive and fortunate for cyder. The taker will be expected to keep the gates, bars, hedges, ditches, drains, and fences, and the thatch and covering of the buildings, in good and tenantable repair; and to pay and discharge all rates and taxes, (except landlord's property-tax;) and to execute a lease containing the usual covenants.
The landlord will repair all buildings, and find rough timber, to be delivered on the stem, (if found on the premises,) for the repair of gates, &c.; and will lay out in the first years of the term thirty points in draining such parts of the estate as may stand in need of it.
For a view of the premises, apply at the farm-house, and for particulars, either at Waterslade, near Honiton's-Clift, Devon, or to Mr. Templer, Bridport, Dorset; to whom sealed tenders, free of postage, must be sent on or before the 8th day of October next, when the person whose offer is accepted, will be apprised of it.
Dated 14th September, 1813.
