        PONTYPRIDD RESIDENT

        MR H. C. MORRISH, PONTYPRIDD

        The death is reported of Mr Hubert Cyril Morrish, 18 Llanover Road, Pontypridd. Mr Morrish died at the East Glamorgan Hospital, Church Village, after a very short illness. The news of his passing came as a shock to all.

        A native of Pontypridd, Mr Morrish is survived by his wife, daughter and two sons.

        The funeral took place on Wednesday for Glyntaff Crematorium. The service at the house was conducted by the Rev. S. Gordon Jackson, pastor of the English Baptist Church, Coedpenmaen, and at the crematorium chapel the service was conducted by the Rev. S. Mogford, vicar of St. Catherine's Church, who was assisted by the Rev. W. K. Price and the Rev. W. Cooper Lewis, vicar of Rhymney. Mr. W. H. Morris was at the organ.

        Mourners were: Brian, son; Norah, sister; Lenard and Leslie, brothers; Eva, sister-in-law; Harry (Bideford) and Fred (Coombe Martin), uncles; John, Edward, Godfrey and Trevor Parsons, brothers-in-law; Denham Evans, nephew; Peter Lewis, Margaret, cousins.

        At the house: Gladys, wife; Gillian (Margaret), daughter; Roger, son; Phyllis, sister; Ethel, sister-in-law; Beryl, niece; John and Geoffrey, nephews; Mrs W. Cooper Lewis, Mrs S. Gordon Jackson, Mrs W. Dickson, Mrs D. Preston.

        Mr Gwyn Parsons (nephew) was unable to attend as he is in hospital.

        Present at the crematorium service were: Messrs. H. Woods, G. Jones, J. E. Rees, D. J. Ingram, G. H. Blizard, E. Fussell, E. Blithe, Danny Williams, T. Jones, Vosper, H.         Bearers were Messrs B. Sowden, D. Preston, T. Jones, G. Davies, W. Dickson, A. Kelland and A. Mathews.
