There are at least two plausible baptisms:
3 April 1741 at Aveton Gifford; William the son of John and Mary Horsewill
17 May 1752 at North Huish; William the son of William and Elizabeth Horsewell
Of these, the North Huish baptism is more geographically likely, but this would make William 16 years old when he married and nearly ten years younger than his wife. The Aveton Gifford baptism is a more plausible date, but is further away geographically.
As the burial records in this era don't give an age at death, it is impossible to determine for certain which of these baptisms is correct.
