Margaret Thomas Evans
Mrs. Margaret Thomas Evans, 48, widow of Joseph H. Evans, died at a local hospital Sunday at 6 p. m. - less than two weeks after the death of her husband, December 7 - of a sudden heart attack following a brief illness.
Mrs. Evans was born March 26, 1888, at Llandilo, Carmarthenshire, Wales, to the late Isaac and Ann Davies Thomas. She lived there until her marriage, March 10, 1911, to Mr. Evans, and returned with him to Salt Lake City, establishing a home at 2622 Green street. She was an active member of the Sons and Daughters of Wales and a member of the Phillips Congregational church.
Surviving is one son, H. Arnold Evans of San Franciso, Cal., and three brothers and sisters, Sarion and Rebecca Thomas of Llandilo, Wales, and David Arnold Thomas of London, England.
