        GREAT WYRLEY

        Local Preacher's Death. - Mr. Thomas Martin, 126, Walsall Road, Great Wyrley, died on Saturday at the age of 86. He had been a local preacher for more than 60 years, and was a founder member of Great Wyrley Methodist Church. He leaves one son and one daughter. Mr. Martin was an engineer at Walsall Wood and Aldridge collieries for many years, and before returning to Great Wyrley on his retirement 15 years ago he was a colliery official in the Rhondda Valley.
