A native of Tregaron she had lived in the village for 50 years. She was a member of one of the oldest families, and where known in the district as the Tregarons. There are three daughters, Mrs. Jane Carter, Park View; Mrs. Mary Morgan, wife of Mr. James Morgan (Hodges and Sons) and Mrs. Elizabeth Stonelake, wife of Mr. Herbert Stonelake (U.D.C. staff), and four sons, Messrs. J. Griffiths (P.D.), R. S. Griffiths, M. G. Griffiths, and Edgar Griffiths.
